Also, France’s communist leader, jails Telegram founder Pavel Durov for failing to censor content on the site. Durov has expressed his disgust with the FBI asking him for a back door to spy on people.
Apparently, the leaders of the UAE, which Durov is a citizen of, have expressed their displeasure with France’s dictatorial censorship and his apprehension, by cancelling an $80 million order for Dassault Rafale fighters.
Another example of why they’re so desperate to disarm us.
Actually, the arrest of Pavel Durov is because he’s not willing (or able) to unmask those clients who use Telegram to promote things like child porn. Telegram has actually made some efforts to censor the same. I would hope that we would agree that his incarceration is not strictly speaking a free speech issue for that reason.
And regarding Harris’ and Jackson’s comments, it’s worth noting that blacks used to have a cultural awareness of how darned important the Bill of Rights was too them. I guess there are exceptions these days.
