  1. My mom likes it for the crossword puzzles, Greg. And just the whole morning paper thing. But, then, I guess neither of those actually translate to “pay attention to”, so you’re right.

  2. jdm, I firmly believe that most people get the Strib out of habit. I recall with fondness reading the Strib on the bus to work and spending Sunday mornings paging through the multiple sections – but that was 40 years ago, 20 years before the average Strib “reporter” was born.

The Red Star was red even then – but back then I was an HHH Democrat and they still embarrassed me.

    How things changed.

  3. Greg,

We subscribed to the Red Star until about four months ago. We were only getting the Sunday paper for the ads and to insure that my wife got the Thanksgiving paper. We were looking at unnecessary expenses and she agreed that since she mostly shopped online now, we didn’t need it.
I suspect that with the policies that Kommissar Kamala and Tim Jong Walz want to ram down our throats, no one will be able to afford to subscribe to it.

  4. Well, great merciful crap! Constant DemoCommie twit Ryan Winkler has co-opted his kid. Apparently, Issac Winkler, 17, is at the DNC convention as a state delegate. Smart move, Ryan! Send your kid into an anti semitic, pro Hamas protest zone. What could possibly go wrong? Hopefully, nothing, but really?!

  5. Bill,
As long as a person can legally vote by Election Day then they can be a delegate or alternate.

  6. Used to love reading the paper, but the pervasive bias made me simply look online for free. The shocker to me is that there were times where you simply couldn’t even justify the bias from a liberal perspective–you would need to ignore so many known facts. So I save myself a few bucks a month.
