Holy crap, Mitch. "The Long Acre" was fused to my in-car cassette player for like, 6 months. And to think I'd forgotten about them! I'm pretty sure they had another album I loved but I can't think what it was called. Good catch!
Cranberries were also ok.

PS It doesn't help that the lead singer has a little less camera presence than Patty Smyth. I knew she was beautiful, but not having seen the video I didn't realize until now that she was made of cardboard.
