My Obsessions: Paleontology

One of my obsessions has always been paleontology - the study of how humans evolved into what we are today.

So I'm fascinated by this story about the discovery of one of the world's oldest fossil humans.

The skull, discovered in Ethopia, apparently still has hair attached:

Amazing.

Yes, I know it was sophomoric.

You saw that side-by-side on Drudge, also, Mitch....Matt is a master of tomfoolery.

No!

The *real* skull was *not* up on Drudge when I hatched this post!

I saw the real skull after I posted this.

Fishy as it no doubt seems, chalk it up to great warped minds thinking alike.

I saw this on Drudge this morning side by side with the actual skull, I swore I was looking at a "Seperated at Birth" comparison......

Here I thought James Brolin was spending his retirement doing amateur psychiatric research, but maybe his hobby is actually anthropology. Perfect place for studying both things.

Now THAT'S funny. More proof that cosmetic surgery has it's limits.
"Pay your surgeon very well to break the spell of aging"

If I had small children I might consider using this pic to scare them into good behavior.
"If you don't stop I'm going to get your Aunt Babs to come and babysit..."
