The Lid's Been Blown Off

In the wake of the Armstrong Williams scandal - during which we learned that Markos "Screw 'em" Moulitsas of the Daily Kos' idea of "full disclosure" involves non-full disclosure - we learn what key conservative bloggers have been earning.

This includes the Powerguys:

PowerLine
Diamond Jack luxury cruise of the Detroit River
Must be those "powerful righty friends" Nick Coleman was yammering about.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have never received a dime for any of my opinions. And that's probably justifiable.

Sorry to see you've bought into this BS, too, Mitch.

Against such a socratic juggernaut, it's hard to see why I'd NOT be convinced that Kos was wronged!

Kos' "disclosure" includes stating, basically, that he has a "bunch of other clients" that he's just not going to talk about. That all you leftybloggers want to close your eyes, eyes, mouths and noses about that while continuing to assert, without basis in fact, that "all conservative blogs are on the take" (or whatever Kos said) begs the question, who's buying the BS, here?

But it doesn't matter - it's really irrelevant. It wouldn't matter to me if Kos was on his knees taking payoffs like Atrios and Ollie Willis; Kos is still a joke.

Look, Luke, the ironic part was, I used to give Kos some credibility; I even wrote for "Political State Report", a spinoff of Daily Kos, for a while, as well as linking to Daily Kos (and, incredibly, even Oliver Willis at one point). It seems that the more overtly partisan he became, the more the quality of his writing and his site deteriorated. I don't know that I'd regard his writing in any less contempt than I do, if he WERE a rugged independant, anymore. The Daily Kos is a joke, no matter who's paying the bills or why.

Very amusing link, particularly the one about Andrew Sullivan being paid by Karl Rove to endorse John Kerry. How much do you suppose Michael Moore’s getting from Rove?
